Pat Kirby:
Has a lifetime of experience in the Fire & Safety business having served for 32 years as a member of the Airport Police & Fire Service with Aer Rianta at Shannon Airport retiring in 2002 with the rank of Chief Fire & Police Officer. On retiring he established Fire Safe Training Services (Ltd) and moved into the present premises at Smithstown in August of 2002. Pat is a holder of a Senior Fire Officer Certificate from the U.K. Civil Aviation Authority as well as a Breathing Apparatus Instructors Certificate with Lancashire County Fire Service. In November 2002 he was conferred with a Diploma in Training & Education from the National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway, he is also the holder of a Certificate in Safety Management from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and an Instructor Certificate in Safe Manual Handling Proceures from Safety Solutions Ltd. in Dublin..
Enda Kirby:
Enda has many years Fire Service Experience having joined Clare County Fire Service as a fireman in 1993 before taking up a full time position with Galway City Fire Service in 2001. He has completed courses on Fire Fighting, Breathing Apparatus, Medical First-Aid and Hydraulic Platforms (50ft and 90ft).
